Red potato

Red potatoes are usually called red-skinned potatoes. But varieties with red pulp have already been bred. The bright color of the peel or pulp is explained by the high content of anthocyanins in the tubers – substances that have antioxidant properties and protect the body from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation.
